ArtsNFlies.com will gladly accept VISA, MasterCard, Debit Card, and American Express as payment for your orders. (Sorry, at this time we do not accept Discover.)

We are keenly aware of our customers regard for security and privacy. We have taken significant steps to safeguard your credit card information:

• Secure Server - Our secure server uses strong RSA™ encryption implemented through proven 128 bit SSL technology.
  
• Encrypted before it is sent - Your credit card information is encrypted before it is transmitted to us.
  
• Reliable shopping cart script - We use the Dansie Shopping Cart script. Dansie is the one of the most reliable and sophisticated shopping cart scripts available today.
  
• Personal review of each order - Each credit card order is personally reviewed by ArtsNFlies.com. If we have any questions or suspicions about the order we will contact you before the charge(s) are made. For your protection if we are unable to verify/confirm such an order we will not process it.
  
• Off-line processing - For added protection your credit card is NOT processed online! Our shopping cart script simply sends the information to us via our secure server. We manually enter the charges off-line. This also includes orders placed by mail-order, FAX and telephone.
  
• No online records! - We do not keep any credit card information stored on our web site servers. Further, all off line records are accessible only by authorized persons.
  
  

Special note for Debit Card customers: Simply select the credit card payment option to use your Debit Card. You do not have to give us your PIN number. Just complete your order as a credit card purchase but your your Debit Card number and expiration date. Our system will debit your bank account for the purchase. It's that simple!

For first-time international orders: We reserve the right to require pre-payment by check or money order before accepting credit cards on future orders.

Checks and Money Orders
 

• Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Money Order
  
  If you have a personal or business checking account with a US Financial Institution, you may request a Certified Check, Cashiers Check (also known as an Official Check, Bank Check or Tellers Check) or a Money Order. The Financial Institution may charge a nominal fee for this service. The benefit to these is that it assures the payee that the funds are available in the account.
  
  Also, we will gladly accept U.S. Postal Money Orders as payment for your purchases.
   
• Personal or Business Check
  
  ArtsNFlies.com will accept a personal or business check for payment of an order (USA orders only). However, your order will be held to allow sufficient time for the check to clear (minimum 3 business days in NY, 5 to 7 business days for all other states).
  
   
• Institutional and Government Checks
  
  ArtsNFlies.com will accept a check from an institution (school, library, foundation etc) and from a government agency (county, district, state etc). We reserve the right to hold your order to allow sufficient time for the check to clear (minimum 3 business days in NY, 5 to 7 business days for all other states).
  
  
  In all cases, any check or money order that is returned for being insufficient funds or unpayable/uncollectible are subject to our Bad Check Policy.
  
  
   

Gift Certificates

Customers may use an ArtsNFlies.com Gift Certificate to pay for their order. Gift certificates may only be used to pay for orders placed online from our web site, by contacting us directly (email, telephone, postal mail), and for custom fly orders. Gift certificates may not be used to pay for eBay auctions or special orders. Further, ArtsNFlies.com Gift Certificates can not be used to pay for orders placed with Amazon.com, Orvis, J.C. Whitney or any of our other affiliate merchants.

The value of a gift certificate will be applied to the sub-total of the items ordered before shipping and sales tax (if applicable). If the sub-total of items ordered is more than the value of the gift certificate it is the customer's responsibility to provide payment with order for the excess amount. Any unused amount of the gift certificate will not be credited or refunded.

Gift certificates can not be redeemed for cash.

Sales Tax

ArtsNFlies.com is required under New York State law to collect sales tax for all orders shipped to an address with in New York State. Orders originating in New York but being sent to a non-New York address, as well as orders completely outside New York, will not be charged sales tax.

Please note that due to the convoluted sale tax structure with in New York state it is possible our shopping cart system may not indicate the proper amount of sales tax for the order. We will verify the sale tax charges manually, and if necessary adjust the amount, when we process your order.
